Mark’s experience in managing all facets of business operations, coupled with his extensive field knowledge, makes him a critical component to our continued growth at Excel.

Mark began working in the petroleum refining industry while attending college at the University of Kentucky (BS Mechanical Engineering) and Eastern Kentucky University (BS Construction Management). Completing projects and turnarounds across various parts of the US and the Caribbean, he gained an invaluable amount of field experience. Upon graduating college, Mark joined an Industrial Engineering firm and continued working on major projects in the petroleum refining industry. Prior to joining Excel, Mark was named General Manager of a leading soft- craft provider, specializing in refineries, chemical plants and power plants. Mark has cultivated relationships and is respected in the industry for his ability to execute projects safely, on time and under budget.

Mark’s experience in managing all facets of business operations, coupled with his extensive field knowledge, makes him a critical component to our continued growth at Excel.

Chris began working in the petrochemical industry while attending college, and has more than 15 years of mechanical experience in positions of progressive responsibility on complex, large budget industrial projects. Accomplished in generating cost savings, optimizing processes, and promoting innovative solutions in a variety of environments, Chris continues to challenge the team and himself to continue to grow. He brings a proven history of executing events that have achieved performance objectives for safety, budget, schedule, and quality to GMTS.


PROJECT Management

Blake Spurlock

Over 27 years in construction management, supervision and shop fabrication including accurate takeoffs, estimating, budgeting, contracting, purchasing, and invoicing. Specializes in shop fabrication and welding of piping, structural steel, and T/A work.

Brandon Berryhill

Over fifteen (15) years of experience primarily in the oil refining and chemical industries. Responsible for the safe execution of work assigned to crews; assuring all employees comply with safety procedures; conducts safety meetings, and examines equipment and tools to ensure their integrity and safe use.

David Dobbins

Specializing in management of projects such as turnarounds, new construction and construction integration. Successful in building relationships with and unifying multidisciplinary design and engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of project development and construction efforts.

Heath Berryhill

Over 10 years of experience. Coordinates work of assigned personnel. Assists in planning, estimating and building schedules (P6) as requested and performs personnel related activities.

Ken Kelch

Over 20 years of experience, primarily in the oil refining and chemical industries. Responsible for the safe execution of work assigned to crews; assuring all employees comply with safety procedures; conducts safety meetings, examines equipment and tools to assure their integrity and safe use.

Kenny Morein

Project Manager currently running jobs with as little as 15 employees up to 700 employees, with several different jobs such as coke drum replacement, Delta Valves installation, to heads off FCCs, natural gas plants and power plants. Well rounded and ready to tackle any project.

Monty Hall

Over 25 years of experience primarily in the oil refining and chemical industries. Performs all safety related items required during the performance of the work. Coordinates work of assigned personnel. Assists in planning, estimating and building schedules (P6) as requested and performs personnel related activities.

Ricky Ardillo

With over 26 years in the industry with the past 10 years as a project manager Ricky handles client relations, scheduling, project controls, estimating and budgeting in South Louisiana. Exchangers are his specialty.
